Yes, God despises people who change their minds. A person who persists in heartless evil is good and deserves to be in heaven, but a person who makes a U-turn and begins to help and care about the poor has to go to Hell.
To be totally nit-picky: you are correct that socialized medicine is governmental. If you have commercial insurance, however, you are a socialist, as insurance structure is the very definition of socialism.
In an ideal world, socialized medicine would cover everyone, but of course no plan can cover everything. However, commercial insurance could offer add-on plans, for instance to add coverage for multiple premature births that almost always accompany the use of fertility drugs, or to offer certain cancer treatments that are not covered in the basic plan.
when a person finds the Godly way to live, of course there should be no heed given to the Devil’s temptations to “turn”!-As concerning Mrs.Thatcher’s faith, see http://spectator.org for Mark Tooley article of 4/9/13 “Margaret Thatcher the Methodist”…..excellent explanation of how and where her lifetime choices were decided. Born in 1925, when her father was a lay preacher in a Methodist church that was true to the Bible, she received a foundation of beliefs that helped her through her life to the age of 87. -Secular Socialism is the Devil’s doctrine….it tries to replace our Creator-Provider, the God of the Bible. It won’t help any human reach God’s heaven. Only genuine Faith in God’s only Son, Jesus the Christ, will open heaven’s gate. The Devil’s children as the cartoon shows, go to “the other place”!
The history of socialism includes a variety of positions on state control or ownership. State socialism is just one form of socialism. Anarchist socialists tended to favor voluntary non-state associations — such as mutual insurance arrangements. Unions are a good example of non-state socialist organizations. Such mutual aid organizations go back at least to Roman times.

Health care should be socialized, IMO.Anyone who has any kind of medical insurance coverage already has socialized medicine.
