Biggest funding for Prop 8 was from churches. As Jesus (according to the bible) never married, and hung out with 12 guys who abandoned their wives and families to “hang” with HIM, is it that “good Christians” fear he was actually just a “closet queen”??
Libertarians say to let people do what they want to do because morality is a man-made construct. Conservatives say morality is a God-given construct and fight to preserve Biblical commandments, fearing that God will destroy a wicked people when they are fully ripe in iniquity. Liberals say forget you all—mankind is amoral and kids should be forced to appreciate sexual deviancy; teach it in schools, the Boy Scouts of America, and let’s celebrate the sexual creatures that all of us are.
^don’t know about that. seems like the boys in the boyscouts are being molested, and it’s being covered up, just like in the catholic church. this is the amorality that children are being taught by boy scout leaders and church elders, and I don’t think they are choosing to be molested by these so called MORAL and certainly holier than though institutions.
I live in the California Bay Area, where schools are trying to make kids more “open-minded” by teaching them that homosexuality is normal. This is what Proposition 8 is all about. Nobody cares if the LGBT community runs around and joins in domestic partnerships. The problem is that granting full legal status and creating a protected class for deviant behavior also gives a green light for progressive school leaders to foist non-traditional teachings about morality on to children in school settings. Kids will be forced to study abhorrent behavior and regard it as acceptable. Tolerance is no longer the standard—we must now embrace the behavior.

“Where are slaves today? What religion profits from slave trade today?”Irrelevant. Your holy cannon clearly states your god declared slavery and savagery towards slaves as allowable and just. It is the secular law of man that declared it otherwise.
