Oh, I know the feeling! Our eldest daughter’s yearbook came home with a minimum of two errors per page. Their, there, and they’re, to, too, and two. Aaaargh! I’m not even an English teacher (My field is history, but it’s eash because I was there for msot of it.) and about halfway through the book, I called the school to complain.

Our local newspaper doesn’t seem to have any proofreaders either. Expect to sit there scratching your head trying to figure out where the rest of the paragraph went and what it might have said.

Wish I had a teacher who worked with me on bettering my English and writing. My parents especially my mom does not. Typing on lap top not fun. On fb most trying to pull April Fools joke.

Night-Gaunt49: No, first to go were the first readers, who culled out the junk. Now they insist the writers pay for them, called agents, and won’t accept any over the transom work like my first book (two editions and two more as book club first and alternates).
