Probably possible. Correct me if I’m wrong? There should be a finite permutation of sudoku puzzles given a 9×9 grid and 9 numbers

    How many are there? 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 ways to fill a box, wait, google, wiki, 5 billion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematics_of_Sudoku#Enumerating_all_possible_Sudoku_solutions

The nicest thing about sudoku for Horace is that they fit well on a Post-It note.

One complication when calculating the number of Sudoku puzzles is that there can be different sets of clues that would lead to the same final grid. These would have to be considered different puzzles.

Aha, Samson, welcome back to the inside of the box. This is not a criticism, by the way, as your comic strip is my all time favourite. It is a real bummer when they are late or do not appear till the next day.
