That is why you need the Secret Shoe Visa Card.

He never sees the bill, you stick it in the back of the closet, pull it out a few months later and when he asks if it is new?

“No, it has been in the back of my closet for ages!”

    and you didn’t tell a lie……

    ;)

I have seen my ex buy clothes that she will never wear anywhere just so she will have clothes to wear if she gets invited to somewhere she has never been before. So I bought a wet suit.

My mom would leave the bags in the trunk of her car until my dad left for work the next day. dad paid all of the bills once a month so I don’t know how she thought she’d get away with it.

Meanwhile, Irving is in another parking lot with his buddies, looking at the electronics in his trunk. Those two are meant to be together… or at least in different parking lots. :-D

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Today our lockdown starts. I feel we are prepared, yet I still feel unprepared. I need a trunk full of toilet paper, I think. ;-) Have a great and healthy day, all!

First dress – too fussy; second one – butt ugly; third one – ditch the hair style and hat; fourth one – maybe passable.

I have a friend who had a well paying job but, would hide the clothes she bought from her husband. I never understood that. I had a not so well paying job, my husband complained once about me buying clothes………once.

I HATE shopping for shoes and clothes with a passion and only do it when it’s absolutely necessary. Cross stitch, on the other hand, has always been my biggest weakness when it comes to spending money — maybe a little bit too much sometimes. But unlike Cathy, who buys clothes and then never seems to wear any of them, I’ve probably spent thousands of countless, enjoyable hours over the last 30 years making many, MANY beautiful things, not only for my husband and me, but also as gifts that I’ve given away to friends and family for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, births of babies, etc.

These days, Etsy is my favorite go-to place to buy some of the cutest, often one-of-a-kind, patterns I’ve ever seen and I’m greatly looking forward to sitting down and stitching each and every one of them ….. if we ever get around to actually finishing my library/sewing room first, that is. Hopefully someday soon, though!

    SIGH …

I really should’ve expected as much, with Cathy and her new wardrobe, but the [eye-roll] still hit pretty hard. Ha.

    HI, MOM. Happy Friday, Clan.
