I suppose if you have the time to browse you might well have the money to buy. I usually hunt in the store. I track down the shoes I went to the store for. I get a pair that fits and that’s it. I am a poor browser. Not sorry.

I wonder if Cathy ever shops those higher end, rich label secondhand clothes? They must have a few places in her city.

With the internet, we all want a deal and will look everywhere for it. This has caused problems for many retailers, such as Macy’s, Kohl’s, Borders, and so on.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday, and a Happy Birthday to my sweet Jr, who turns 17 today! While staying at home is not the optimal way to celebrate, I hope she has a wonderful, special day! Have a great day, all!

Retailers will adapt or lose business and possibly be replaced by new retailers.

A Spendthrift is one who spends money in an extravagant, irresponsible manner. Not one who is a saver.

Yeah, right, sure, just “browsing” ….. because everyone spends their time in high-end mall department stores trying on clothes that they have absolutely NO intention of buying whatsoever! :-P

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
lightenup: Happy 17th birthday to Jr.! Hope she has a really wonderful day doing whatever it is that makes her happy! :-)

Hello and Happy Friday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone has a really great day and is doing everything they can to stay safe and healthy! :-)

I suspect the only label that is correct is the spendthrift one as the prices for those outfits would be anything but cost conscious, penny pinching, or prudent.
Where have the years gone? Jr is 17 already! Please wish her a happy birthday from me – and probably everyone else here too.
After a cold night it is a degree or two above freezing today along with a bright, warm sun. The new snow is already melting. If we don’t get any more storms we just might see grass in a few weeks.
Happy Friday (I think it is Friday – loosing track of time when I don’t leave the house on Wednesdays). Have a great, healthy day.

For once our favorite nut-job is talking some sense, though—as others have pointed out—not sure why she’s shopping if she doesn’t intend to buy anything. All part of the experience, I suppose.
HI, MOM. Happy Friday, Clan.

Happy Birthday, Jr!! Can’t believe you’re 17 already!! Spring is here…egrets are back, cranes are building huge nests, red winged blackbirds and robins are singing, and we still have a beautiful pair of cardinals who have been at our feeder all winter.
