You’re finally catching on, Irving. And it only took three years of being married to her!

Silence is golden. Don’t break it unless you can afford to.

The real trouble starts when she either gets jealous of your breakfast or wants you to join her on her diet.

What is “girl cereal”? My husband and I both eat the same kind of healthy cereal.

For the most part, I sympathize with Irving here. There doesn’t seem to be a good way to handle Cathy many times because she’s so unpredictable. Sometimes she’s a whack-a-doodle and other times she has common sense. Better to stay quiet. My real question though is… what is “girl cereal”??

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! As lindz.coop said yesterday, there’s a good article out now about Cathy Guisewite. Apparently she has a book coming out in April so maybe the comic will see more viewers. If you have time, take a look at the article. I read a good amount of it, but didn’t get a chance to finish, and it was very interesting. Have a great day, all!

Bill The Nuke has it right. Cathy will not want to suffer the ‘girl cereal’ (like everyone else here I have no idea what that is) alone and will expect Irving to join her on her diet.

rgcviper – it finally made it to Wednesday for you.

I’m making a wild guess on “girl cereal.” Irving sees that it’s a health food cereal, not one he would like, so he contemptously calls it “girl cereal.”

I, too, am wondering about the “girl cereal” remark. Seems a little … off … in today’s times, but maybe that’s the point. With these two, who knows?

Thanks, hendelca. We’re making progress through the week, but still a couple days to go. I’ll make it somehow.

    HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
