Wally has no idea that the rats might have taken Holly. I hope all they did was what they said to her “to be careful of who . she’s friends with.” Can only hope.If they did take her in, Wally will make them wish they din’t!

If Holly kept her stash of cheese in the house, then yes, they found it. And they probably found Wally’s engineering books, which obviously mark him as a Topsider spy.

Brace yourself, Wally…The “Beserkness” is just warming up……and all because someone wanted a piece of cake.

Something is being set up. Think of it this way. What if everything about Flask, the mission to destroy the satellite, all her hacking Topsider computers came to light. Holly, Wally, Petey, Prof Mallard all directly involved and not forgetting Aaron Marx. Over the last 3 months Topsiders running rampant destroying every topside settlement they can locate with the satellite forcing huge numbers of refugees to underground. Now a plan has been hatched. Simply take out the satellite control and command. Where is it? Topside at a Topsider settlement. One time occupied by Linda. Location known by Holly Wally and Petey. Would you volunteer to go take it out IF you were safely in Endtown? No instead make a big security issue out of cake. Gather up all involved. Now make a deal. Whoever is in charge has the leverage on each person. What if the punishment for this is deportation. Kicked out of Endtown to the Topside. How long do you think any will survive like Holly or Maude especially?Wally would do anything to protect Holly. Linda has affection for Maude and there is the chance of getting her SON back as a side trip. Don’t forget Petey. Remember the head in the box for which he had great affection. Threaten to destroy it as Topsider trash Petey would probably do anything. Each one has something to bring. Wally spent extensive time topside and is a APEX engineer (remember) he knows the equipment. Linda knows the Topside settlement probably remembers rooms and locations (maybe even the control room possible location). Petey communicates with PT units and can hack and defend with his abilities.AND the dittos given to Prof Mallard by Marx do provide camouflage preventing detection. Single three person infiltration and attack to take out the system.“Hostages” held insuring compliance with the mission.There is a saying. It is rough and ugly but never the less true.THE NEEDS OF THE MANY OUTWEIGHT THE NEEDS OF THE FEW. It is why the Alamo was fought over to delay the Mexican Army long enough to set up a defense. It is why some stay behind to fight knowing they might not survive so others can escape. Dunkirk. Many more.In other words: Let me make you an offer you can’t refuse. Wally, Linda, and Petey would not go just voluntarily.I hope it is not this but these actions are leading to something and its the only thing I can come up with.

Re: Endtown law. I imagine they are under a self styled martial law. I went through martial law, here in the U S A following hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Louisiana gives a LOT of power to sheriffs under normal circumstances. During our martial law period many LEOs left rather than continue to participate in actions that back home they would have arrested themselves for doing. Nat Guard and US Army were in charge, but situation prevented them doing LE.

Most did, but I didn’t The Ralph character (when we got a tv I was about 5) he seemed like a fat, mean and big person. Not like Wally at all. Since so many people brought it up I guess Wally’s friend could look like the Ed guy. Maybe it’s the funny hat with the front folded straight up?

Some of this speclation is fanciful, at the least. We don’t know (yet) what happened, but it happened at Maude’s boardinghouse, the Endtown cafe, and Holly’s house. Arrests? Probably. A coup? I’d say, less likely. Lining people up against the wall? No evidence—-yet.
