Mitt was unfairly criticized for an honest slip of the tongue? Did you read the same stories I did? He was rightly criticized for his dismissive attitude towards women and poor record in hiring them overall, and his “slip” was Mitt trying to claim he was looking for female staff when in fact those binders were provided to him by an organization trying to GET him to hire some women.

I guess they are not counting Hillary since she is taking 4 years off, I hope John Kerry is approved.

Women should run the government. Men are too angry and testy about everything.

“As usual conservatives and wuerker miss the point completely.”.Wuerker doesn’t usually miss the point. He just sometimes tries too hard to criticize the “left” so he won’t be considered one-sided. Hey Matt, Don’t worry about it; it’s not your fault (nor ours) that “left” is right. But the cartoon is funny (and not completely beside the point). By the way, where has Mitt been hiding out since the election? It seems like he’s been transported to some distant planet… I don’t imagine he’s planning on making it back for the inauguration.

… " By the way, where has Mitt been hiding out since the election? It seems like he’s been transported to some distant planet… I don’t imagine he’s planning on making it back for the inauguration…"__________________________________________

Shortly after Romney lost the election by only about 3 1/2 million votes, he spoke out a couple of times, an’ was roundly an’ soundly shellacked for it by the news, even FOX News. His timing was off, an’ I don’t think anyone really wanted to hear from him at all…His adversaries certainly didn’t – an’ his fan base was disappointed an’ disheartened by the election results…WHY in the wild an’ wacky world of politics would anyone expect Romney to do anything OTHER than drop well below the radar of the news media indefinitely?…After all, he said throughout the campaign that this was the last time he would seek the office, an’ I believe that once the battle was lost, he an’ his family couldn’t wait to return to private life. God bless him an’ his wife an’ family for giving it a very good try…’Helluva better effort than McCain & Palin gave the 2008 campaign…

Personally, I had hoped that Mitt would win – after four years of the Obama brand of “Hope & Change,” I felt the nation really needed a different kind of change an’ a fresh direction…but it was just not to be.

What IS to be is another four years of Obamanation …I don’t look forward to that in the least, but it is what it is, an’ I can’t afford to leave the country…so I will hang in there until Obama leaves – the White House, at least – maybe he will move back to his native Kenya after he leaves office, but I would doubt it. He’ll just become a gaZillionaire doing speaking engagements forever an’ ever…We’ll probably never be rid of him an’ his ABW wife…

Romney lost by closer to 5 million votes._______________________________

OK – Thanks! I stand corrected…(the reports I had seen used the number I used in my comment). So he actually lost by about 5 million votes…‘Since the Electoral College gave Lord Ears a much heftier margin of victory, I’ve no doubt that his final-term arrogance will easily eclipse that of his first term…*Our nation is in deeeeep trouble…I don’t for a minute believe that increased or sustained spending is any sort of a solution to our national problems. Apparently, the majority of voters DO swallow this line of flawed thinking. So be it.Nothing lasts forever. I didn’t vote for the damaged goods that are in charge of our government an’ our nation’s direction. If our republic DOES somehow survive our present challenges, it will be far more IN SPITE OF Lord Ears than BECAUSE OF his Obamanation administration.
