Our point exACTly, Redneck. Twenty innocent school children shouldn’t suffer for the need of a few manhood-challenged chickenhawks to own their own mass-killing instruments. If we can outlaw shoulder-mounted surface-to-air missiles near airports, we can outlaw assault guns in society. They have one sole purpose. Rapid mass killing. We should never be surpised to see them used as designed. Ban them.
Yes. The number of applications for Concealed Carry permits is on the increase, and the NRA teaches the required courses.Have they stepped up their advertising? Of course not. That would be insensitive, wouldn’t it?Take some of their courses, and you’ll have the proof you claim to seek.
“What abour personal responsibility??? Everyone else should not suffer because of a few!!”Suffer? Seriously? How does not being allowed to own high capacity semi-automatic weapons constitute suffering?
M -60, M-79 (my personal favorite), mortars, and 105 howitzers ARE “fun” to fire on occasion, but like AR-15s with large magazines,or MAC 10’s on automatic, don’t need to be in "civilian’ hands. There is a difference between “respect” for weapons, as tools, and “reverence” for them as idols of some warped religious tenet; thus the difference between “gun owner”, and “gun nut”.
mdavis: found four sites the other day selling FULL AUTO MAC -10s, WITH suppresors! Interesting that most were “sale pending” or “sold”, even though still listed. BTW, my nephew owns one, legally.

Love how the pretenders think these weapons are going to help them "rise up against Obama’s "tyranny"", LOL.
