ScullyUFO: You beat me to Ike’s golf, but I can recall the standard joke back then was that he was invited to join the PGA – not for the quality of his playing, but for the quantity. He even had a private course on the White House grounds..Truman was attacked for not spoiling a good walk (and making it difficult for reporters to keep up). Kennedy for touch football; Ford for falling down; etc.. Considering how many (often illegal) business deals are made on the golf course, I really can’t see how this would inevitably be a problem.
Rather than speak real facts, once again made up lies about others in order to distract us from looking at the truth—They are never going to stop making up absurd accusations when they have no honest response. “get a job”—you don’t even know the person you’re talking to but you are putting out insults based in lies you’ve made up. Ominius, you’re absurd.
Already internet idiots refering to the American born President of the United States as “The Kenyan”. Time to get over it, and unbunch the panties. Do some good for a change.
“The laziest president in memory was “w”, perhaps the laziest ever.”-Not true. You gotta remember that Bush wasn’t just the president, he was The Decider. Working was never part of the equation. Once he Decided something, his part of the process was complete.-After that, he had ‘people’ to finish up, just like all the rest of his life.
Which part? Kenyan or idiot? Sarcasm appreciated. In either case, who carries the “briefcase”? The caddy or the real wood chopper? Most people forget that the “red phone” is wherever the president is: golf course, ranch, AF1, etc. Not a job I would want, but of course, I can criticize!
“President Obama works a lot harder than the republicans in Congress at trying to restore our economic vitality.” AGREED. And, he has implemented some concepts that Republicans supported in their primary. There is potential for a consensus effort, if politics were not involved.
Rickapolis: Of course Norquist is. He is chief lobbyist for the multinational corporations, which are nongeographical nations. They have negligible territory to defend, just a few officers and/or factories, any one of which can be switched to any other almost instantly. Their citizens (once called “employees”, but now “associate” is preferred even though they have negligible policy input and rarely profit sharing) are also citizens of some geographic nation too. The geographic nations take money (taxes) away from them, while the nongeographic nations give them money (wages). In a conflict of interest, which will these dual citizens side with? The nongeographic nations don’t have the expenses the geographical ones do. They rarely have a military, but depend of geographical ones (mainly US) to provide that to them without cost, or use mercenaries which are so abundant that they are comparatively cheap (and often subsidized by geographic nations anyway).

Compare the amount of vacation time taken by GWB and Obama. The results may be interesting and instructive!

If Obama hasn’t accomplished anything, what are all of you wingnuts complaining about every day?

Getting in before the number of golf games complaints. On review, one sees the President played golf and held meetings at the same time.
As I recall, Ike played a lot of golf too. During the Cold war, when the red phone could ring at any moment.

For the NON learners out there:Obama had control of Congress for less than two MONTHS. Google ‘Obama’ and ‘72 days’, and you’ll see.

onguard is using “lazy” as a euphemism for “black.” So it doesn’t have to be true. It’s a dog whistle.

For shame! You used the word “ass” to refer to the the shrubs posterior instead of his personality.
