My old border collie used to lay outside on the driveway and let the snow bury her. A couple of times, she was just a bump. She only wanted in the house at night at bed time.

I’ve never seen Snoopy sleep in his doghouse, but I have him bang on the door of the house to get Charlie Brown to let him in for the night.
