I think Ma does this stuff deliberately just to irk the bejeezuz out of Burl. She’s a cranky old trout, that one, but it IS funny when she gets one over on him!
Lave sus manos! Ma is sickening—literally.My first thought was seeing people sitting their infant on the table in a restaurant. I then wonder about the table surface I’m eating on. The busser clears their table and wipes it with a dirty wet rag and maybe a desultory half-spray of something in a bottle. At least I don’t have to worry about constipation.
Whew… a little late today….. (had to bring a few things to Marg…. didn’t realise the guards ….er…. stewards…. had to examine everything and remove anything sharp … I mean make sure there were no…. um…. well…. never mind…..
Anyway, just in case anybody still drops by….
I guess I have a diferent view of Ma than most.I agree that she dislikes Burl, and cuts him verbally at every opportunity… He’s just not good enough for her baby girl….and she’s so stupid she doesn’t get what a prize Joy is NOT.So things like this, and driving up on the curb Sunday…I dunno, I just don’t think she’s doing it on purpose.She’s just plain dumb as a rock, though she can get in digs at Burl cos he’s equally stupid.She shouldn’t be allowed to drive at all…and she’s clueless about social interaction.Joy knows what she comes from… so she’s (totally incompetently) upwardly mobile….with a sour grapes attitude towards her “betters.”
Burl himself is one of those mentally deficient people who have learned they get laughs by saying something insulting.
Susan I also get here later as the sun fails to rise when I would want to get up (and I have sometimes been on the computer a little late)..I think you are being overly kind to these people- we all know some like that. If you were right, poor Patty!.I find myself daydreaming later as I wait for sunrise and the time for my trip draws nearer. He wanted me to change my flights (but besides being on my son’s FF miles, I am having work done on my veins (last one tomorrow) and want to be toally FINE when I spend a lot of time with him.

Ma is annoyingly obnoxious, and hazardous to the health of those she targets, especially Burl. She is beyond disturbing the peace. She assaults.
