rac0308, I think Arnold is the same guy, although it’s only now that we’ve seen him and learned his name. The desire to reconnect with Arnold was floated (and seems to have been confirmed) as one of Evie’s motivations for the Thailand trip.

When Evie started talking about going to Thailand, one of her daughters did say something about Arnold, whether he was the reason (or one of the reasons) she wanted to go. So they had heard about him before and knew his name.
