Seriously, Obama is the first President to risk pissing off the Chinese by standing up to them on trade and industry in decades. This has got to be one of the least reality-based portrayals of the situation I’ve seen.
Since 2010, Obama has filed seven trade complaints against China for currency manipulation and goods-dumping, and it has certainly pissed off China. Kinda makes me think you guys don’t pay attention.
Considering the wealth of six Waltons, and Mitt’s investment “strategies” (pretty sure based on his advisors advice), maybe the “China syndrome” is actually Republican efforts to drill a hole through the Earth from China to Wal Mart supply centers, like in Grantsville, Utah?
“Isn’t it great that O got his money through political fundraisers ONLY?”I know for a fact that isn’t true. Just last week, I donated $20 to Obama’s campaign online on Ima’s behalf and another $20 on Howie’s."I love it when you call Mitt ‘mittens’. It makes me want to vote for him even more.Romney could defecate on your front lawn, fling it at your house, and set your car on fire. It would likely make you want to vote for him even more.
Romney would have let Detroit go bankrupt, had Bain step in, rebuild the company to a semblance of profitability, then sold off the pieces, taken the profits, and sent the equipment in the factories to China to make the rickshaws, while paying the employees to disassemble the machinery and pack it for shipment!
Chuchillwasright- Take one set of facts- yours are true, but also the other set of facts regarding Obama being tough on China- also true. Pick your poison. I’m sticking with Obama. At least he didn’t ship jobs to China. How can Romney stand up to them when he needs them to make his and his Bain buddies profits? Unfortunately, Chinese companies have undercut our windmill technology, as they have in so many other industries. By the way, did you notice that Obama put the kibosh on a Chinese purchase of an Oregon wind farm? Turns out it was very close to a base we work drones out of. So who is really standing up to China?

Funny thing is he knows it won’t be his kids and grankids pulling that rickshaw, but all of ours.

Mitt owns the rickshaw company, right?

It’s all the Republicans fault. If Nixon hadn’t opened relations with China, all this wouldn’t have happened.

Walmart is China West and, of course, solid in the elephant corner. Really RA. You have a major case of transferance.
