Some elements of our history are simply to vile even for political humor. This is one.

Ambassador Taylor in his opening statement indeed provided the impeachment rope for Trump to use on himself.

My fondest wish is not that Tiny be lynched or burned at the stake, but on live TV stripped, covered with very hot tar, dipped into a vat of feathers and ridden out of town on a rail. The first President ever to be so bigly honored – oh the glory.

I guess that’s only for those other 44 loser presidents. Trump in his brazenness and ignorance has actually said that the emoluments clause in phony. I can only speculate that he wants to be impeached AND removed from office so that he won’t have to face an election loss in ’20 and can play the martyr to his equally ignorant hardcore base and go back to being a reality TV star.

Sadly, he may get his wish. If Nixon and the Wall St fraudsters who cause the ‘08 recession walked away without jail time, there no reason why The Donald won’t either.
