Cricket: a game of a true British gentleman (and a gentleman of the Commonwealth)… not so much in Andy Capp’s case.

@Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny , for our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , sober again , anything can be an excuse for him to get violent :o), my avatar is an example that today’s same sized cars look so much alike that to find yours you have to use your remote key to set off the alarm and flashing lights to find yours in a large parking lot , and that’s how I used to find mine , because I used to forget where I had parked our Hyundai i20 , how was your day , ours should be busy but not hectic I hope , they are still processing my driving licence and it’s taking a long time because I have cataracts in both eyes :o{ have fun and thanks for caring pal.

I can’t imagine why Andy has never caught the test selectors eyes. Or perhaps he has and the ICC made a ruling never to select Andy.

Why is it everyone else is in a Cricket uniform and Andy is still in shirt sleeves?

I’d heard that rugby is a game for thugs played by gentleman, and cricket is a game for gentleman played by thugs.

Andy is the living definition of the term “it’s just not cricket”!

Never could understand that game.

Why are they wearing sweaters if it is summer?

I would like to see someone chase Andy around with a cricket bat. Let’s see how he likes it.
