   wasn’t scouting initially military training for teenage boys? and, the boy scouts forced disclose their secret files on bad leaders and the local cover-ups.

    Hmm,when I was a GS, we used to sell door to door.
    When that stopped, they would set up a table in front of grocery stores, but this year, we didn’t see any cookie sellers.
    And, I would buy Samoas and Thin Mints by the case (froze them to use all year)
    Guess it’s their loss.

    The Girl Scout Motto is “Be Prepared”
    The Girl Slogan is “Do a Good Turn Daily”

    While Baden-Powell was a military man, Scouting was NEVER about military training.

    Those so-called “secret files” were not disclosed to protect any in there who might have been falsely accused. This was before everyone from 6 mos – 100 years old had the internet at their fingertips.

    You want local “cover-ups” check out your local Catholic Church!
