wasn’t scouting initially military training for teenage boys? and, the boy scouts forced disclose their secret files on bad leaders and the local cover-ups.

The Girl Scout Motto is “Be Prepared”The Girl Slogan is “Do a Good Turn Daily”

While Baden-Powell was a military man, Scouting was NEVER about military training.

Those so-called “secret files” were not disclosed to protect any in there who might have been falsely accused. This was before everyone from 6 mos – 100 years old had the internet at their fingertips.

You want local “cover-ups” check out your local Catholic Church!

Tom Lehrer said it best. “Be prepared, that’s the Boys Scouts marching song. Be prepared for anything that comes along, If you come across a girl scout, dont be nervous, dont be scared, be prepared.”

A Harvard professor and American singer-songwriter, satirist, pianist, and mathematician. Check him out.

We did, in the old 45rpm days.

    Thanks prof.
