    No, it’s a Murphy’s Law type of thing. You look every place the lost item could be. Car keys would not be up in the attic, for example, so you wouldn’t go there to look. But if you made a list of every place they could be, you would have to search every place on the list before you find them. Not just a couple of places on the list, not half the list, but the entire list.

    I’m at he age where that isn’t always true. Sometimes I find things in a place where I have already looked.
