The Wizard of Id has been enchanting audiences since 1964, but the real wizards behind this comic classic were artist Brant Parker and writer Johnny Hart.
The pair began paving the path to the Kingdom of Id in 1950, when Parker, a staff artist for the Binghamton Press in upstate New York, was asked to judge a high school art contest. Among the entrants was a teenager by the name of Johnny Hart, whose work so impressed Parker that he arranged a meeting.

When I got supplies from Costco every three weeks (it was a 50 mile drive to medford) it usually took several trips with the handtruck as the parking spot was a fair distance.

Yes, we do tend to have that strange little quirk, but I think it has something to do with saving steps. I, myself, don’t like to make the same trip twice when one will do.

I wish I could bring in groceries like that.

Not liking to make two trips is why I lost weight. Now it only takes me one trip to go upstairs.

LOL I know why I do that: Because, growing up, even if my hands were already full when taking groceries in, my mom would say that I could take more and pile stuff on top

Kinda glad it’s not my job to support you. You’re a kinda high-maintenance sort.

Guys strive for speed and efficiency in completing annoying assignments. It’s just a guy thing, but it’s even more annoying to see some short little guy with a magic wand empty a vehicle with all that chow in one shot, dwarfing any attempts on a guy’s part to attain speed and efficiency.
