You’re blaming Obama for this? The same people who keep calling him a “socialist” and accuse him of trying to redistribute the wealth are going to try and blame him for the ever-widening gap between the rich and the poor?
Bravo! For such unbelievable chutzpah you deserve a huge gaudy medal.

Maybe he was talking about the improved dental care options in the ACA?
There’s nothing wrong with being rich, but there is something wrong in not investing in the society that made and kept you rich. Carnegie and JP Morgan and many other of our “robber barons” used the gov’t to make themselves wealthy, but then turned around and helped that same nation when it was in need. Our international economy is such that when the wealthy see our nation in need, they just invest in currencies of other countries. We need a better class of the upper class. Too few Buffetts and Gates and way too many Goldman Sachs.

Remember, to him, everything bad is Obama’s fault, even if he wasn’t even elected when it happened.
In his mind, if we had a completely Republican rulership (note I didn’t say “government”) and nuked Iran, everyone would suddenly have a job and gas would be a dollar a gallon.

All of these other (to paraphrase one of them) sheeple- or are they really the trolls- are completely misconstruing what we’re saying. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING RICH!!!! I Am Not Envious! Steve Jobs is a hero. He earned every one of those billion pennies.

Thank you R. Troll for underscoring this- there are too few Jobs (hmm. Is there a pun in there?) and Gates, etc and too many Banksters.

It’s amazing that the current crop of robber barons makes the old crop look positively altruistic!!

snip….. to the very country that allowed the person to become wealthy….snip"

I would make an adjustment to your language and your thinking. This country didn’t ‘ALLOW’ them to become rich, it ‘ENABLED’ them to become rich. small change in language, big change in accuracy.

The Recession added millions of people to food stamps. The Recession caused by the vaporization of trillions of dollars lost in derivatives-gambling by the big banks. Not Obama. Not Bush. So stop shouting stupidity at us, you idiot.

If indeed you are not suffering fools, how in God’s name do you endure yourself.
I have read some ignorant nonsense on these comment sections, but that has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever witnessed.
Circumstances, many triggered by the previous administration (remember them?) put people in a position where they had to go on welfare and get food stamps. Thank Heavens for a President who tried to keep them from going under.
    And then you finished with
It seems almost impossible that you could be any more incorrect, but there you go.
Turn off Faux News, they are filling your void with lies.

If you’re talking about people like the Bushes and Romney, they inherited, never achieved anything. On the other hand, like him or not, Obama is a self-made man.

Jesus said “Go. Sell all you have and give to the poor. Then come, follow me.” And the rich man went away disappointed. I have been inadequate in that, but I do endeavor to give what I can, and beyond. Can the CONtrolls say the same? Judging by their posts, I think not. And yes, I DO think!
