It is … you work hard, find one, and the Repubs prevent the Dems ( who give it to those lazy slackers) from taking all of your pay…. need any thing else or are you one of the slackers?

Not quite. If you are already rich, the Republicans ensure you can keep it all and get corporate welfare to make yourself even richer; meanwhile, services and infrastructure are cut and cut on those who need it to try and climb up, and the poor and middle class pay the taxes to enrich the rich.

Obviously you are either not paying attention, or you have some peculiar beliefs as to what America stands for.
Ensuring all Americans have the right to vote? Democrats yes, Republicans no (by open admission).
Ensuring Americans can be paid more than slave wages so they can work out of poverty? Democrats yes, Republicans no.
Reducing the cost of healthcare to people and businesses? Democrats yes, Republicans no.
    And so forth…

What is the Republican infrastructure plan?
What is the Republican position on immigration reform?
What is the Republican positions on Syria? On Egypt? I hear different versions from them every week.

Actually, things did work better when the Dems were in control. We got fiscal stimulus, which (despite the reality-free view from Fox News) created many thousands of jobs and ended a free-fall into depression. We got Obamacare, which is a really big deal for those of us Americans who are not working for large companies or old enough for Medicare. We got some decent supreme court justices who care about citizens and the constitution, not just corporations. We saved America’s auto industry over the protests of the “China first” Republican party. The first two years of Obama’s presidency were remarkably productive. If only we’d ended the Bush tax cuts, we’d have surpluses by now and be rebuilding our country instead of having the GOP holding its foot firmly on our neck, keeping us back while the rest of the world surges forward.

“And………Things worked so well for Americans when the Dem Libs had the WH Senate and the House……Remember?”

Things did work out very well. The stimulus package put a lot of people back to work, gave tax breaks to the middle class, passed the health care law that’s gonna save people money, equal pay legislation for women, credit card reform (unlike Bush’s this one helped the middle class somewhat), increased Pell grants for education, made killing homersexuals a hate crime, put and end to ninja loans (no income, no job or assets), cut perscription drug costs for medicare by 50%, and created more jobs in 2010 than the entire 8 years of the Bush Administration. If the Cons would stop obstructing then maybe you can get a good paying job and stop mooching off your parents and blaming Obama for your failures.

Their jobs plan is “keep my cushy job while doing as little as possible until I can retire, and get an even cushier ’think tank” job from one of the many corporations whose interests I pushed over that of the nation".
…wait, you mean jobs for the REST of us? What makes you think they’ve got time to worry about that? There’s obstructin’ to be done!

Yesterday Ed Schultz spent half of his Ed Show comparing Democratically controlled Minnesota to the red state of Wisconsin. Guess which state is doing better.

i didn’t notice the Republicans not going along with the Democrats to exempt themselves and their staff from the PPACA and keep their Cadillac health plan.
