    It drives me nuts when national cartoonists do local stories…

    @Mark

    Toles has been “riding” the Metro for a long time now, so either get used to it or stop reading him and move on.

    @Debt Free

    The problem wasn’t the high speed train, it was the low speed tracks that hadn’t been upgraded.

    It is time for Toles to move to Vermont; very green , very progressive, and very uncrowded.

    Not only metro, but certain big companies when you call and they put you on an unending track of pressing numbers, waiting while listening to how much they value your business, and their service goes down, down, down, down. (For instance, my DSL provider)

    He can always come back to Buffalo. Then he’ll have a re-newed appreciationfor the DC Metro. I’ve only visited DC but I found the Metro to be fantastic. True, an escalator may be out of service from time to time, but the trains were clean, quick, efficient, on on-time and went nearly everywhere we wanted to go in the city (and some of the suburbs too). Way better than trying to drive the city and find parking, …

    Part of the deal here. Live with it.
    -
    Just a local part of the infrastructure that is decaying from neglect.

    @Omnius

    So even here you complain. Don’t you have anything good to say?

    @Ionizer

    “You can just change the channel.”
    -
    Anyone can say that. Or are “libs”(sic) the only ones for free choice?

    How many public officials use Metro? Any?

    Toles hates the DC Metro, Glen McCoy hates Obama. And so it goes.

    For Libertarians too.
    -
    Some might but not all.
    -
    How do you define a Liberal? Yours is rather narrow.

    In response to those who complained about my complaint: deal with it.

    Did I do it right?
