Must be real short of people so cronyism is in wide use there.

There are a lot bigger social and economic injustices to whine about than more people using mass transit, even if it’s free.

That’s not what the cartoon is about. It’s about nepotism. Toles is a Washington cartoonist, he does cartoons about local Washington issues sometimes. Oh, and it’s not free.

Why is it that airline employees get flight benefits that are untaxed while waitresses have to pay taxes on their tips?

So no corruption from your party? Don’t be fooled by partisanship. They are both corruptible. And are corrupted. Just as big just as ugly. Wise up.

Toles doesn’t attempt to speak to major international issues every day. Just what annoys him. This is (mostly) about a local issue, although nepotism exists everywhere.

Corruption is a bi-partisan issue.

Mhic Dhu Ghaill: Washington, DC, is now and ever was, ruled by southern racist members of Congress. As the license plates quote: “Taxation without representation…”

C’mon, everyone knows the real money is made by selling the public infrastructure to your political backers. Democrats generally lack that kind of “vision”.

Yeah, but DC has never had a Republican official since they got home rule.
