interesting toon … subject to interpretation I would guess … does the USA in the body cast represent the partisan gridlock we’ve been experiencing and will now experience even more based upon recent comments by McConnell, and now Eric Cantor who said GOP was willing to meet with Obama and compromise as long as he went along with the GOP 100 percent.

Hmmm. Haven’t seen any spammers for a few days. Could it be that GoComics has finally listened to our griping and done something about them?

BCS is correct. I read on AP mobile they want things their way or the highway and want to bring back the death panels (repeal health care law).

I know its not the AP but its the AP article.

It may also be in reference to the fact that we’re falling behind in support for research science and technology – we’re not investing in it through our government as, say, China and Europe are. Not surprising, since the Republicans are unwilling to accept biology (e.g., evolution, stem cells) or physics (e.g., global warming), which does rather put a crimp in your ability to develop 21st century science…

So, is the full body cast some sort of handicap? Are we handicapping ourselves because we’re so far ahead in the race (don’t see any other contenders catching up) that we need to hold back? NOT!

Don’t know how you got to Obama being black on this toon just days after the mid term election. We did elect a black man over half of the voting whites and over 95% of blacks voted for Obama and so where is the racism.

This is the most open society ever so all this talk to show some foolish moral superiority is silly.

Bo Winkle, you are a racist! I can’t believe it. You are so racist, I think you might have a hint of racism in you. And you might think less of people who have different color skin. By the way, you forgot that Obama is the Pro-Muhammad.

    • & gays.

“This is the most open society ever so all this talk to show some foolish moral superiority is silly.”

    • “Moral superiority” is the political platform of the Right. I put it in quotes since it’s often adulterers and greedy conniving individuals who run it which is in direct contradiction to Scripture.

Want some fun? Try comparing the number of marriages and affairs from “Family Values” Republicans versus Democrats, especially those who went after Clinton. Newt Gingrich: On third wife, deadbeat dad, abandoned his family to his church Henry Hyde: admitted affair with a married woman Rush Limbaugh: Four wives and counting… Clintons: still married and working together closely.

    ^ It’s pretty impressive, really.

And let’s not forget how when Governor Mark Sanford was found to be in an affair his supporters invoked a story of King David. This is why legislating morality is stupid.

How many politicians against the legalization of marijuana have smoked something similar?

“Some headway out of this mess”.. Exactly what do you have in mind, Tigger?

I have heard not a single proposal from any Republican candidate for putting Americans back to work. They have been quick to attack and slow to offer alternatives.

Sorry if we have better sex lives.

Tigger to be honest I don’t know if the Democrats got the message. The Weekly Standard thinks Nancy Pelosi will stay as the Party Leader in the House. Turns out there are so many East and West Cost people it will be hard to stop her.
