Tired of art snobs and their stuffy old museums? So was Steve Melcher, so he created That Is Priceless -- dedicated to taking art’s greatest masterpieces down a peg with irreverent new titles. You don’t have to be an art lover to appreciate Steve’s sticking it to the man on a regular basis – especially when that man is someone like Caravaggio, who when you look a little closer, was really kind of a jerk.

Click-to-enlarge image can be found here or here. Smaller enlargement can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry.
The Apostle Saint Peter appearing to Saint Peter Nolasco (links show their Wikipedia pages, Catholic Encyclopedia bio of first and second individual) is shown, with a different coloration, click-to-humongous image, and described, by its current-location page (companion piece).
Another different coloration image can be found here, and another can be found here. The artist’s Catholic Encyclopedia bio, Wikipedia page (Google translated Spanish Wikipedia page has more) and collection (more under Subcategories at each level).
So far, 5 works, by this artist, have appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog.

It’s really none of my business — but since I reported your new job here, does your comment apply to the painting, or are you talking to yourself (quit your new job)?
