With Strange Brew, Deering -- famous for his biting humor and political savvy as chief editorial cartoonist for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette -- has an outlet for his creative sense of humor and quirky view of life.
"Being an editorial cartoonist today, you have to be tuned-in to pop culture as well as politics -- but there are some limits to what you can do," Deering says "In Strange Brew, everything’s fair game. I get to cut loose and draw anything."

I liked your horoscope “window”. I wish I still had what I made. It either got given away or broken in one of my many moves. Never tried glass blowing, though I did have the chance.

First of all, dude, the Midwest IS the North. Most of it is quite a ways north of most of what you’re thinking of when you say “the North” with the exception of Maine.
Second, if you want to see fog, head for the border between Maryland and Virginia, and take a look around near the Potomac.

Thanks sir. Did you notice the little glass earth marble in the center? The wife does her glass in a kiln and melts all the parts together rather than use lead or copper tape.
If you made one window, you can make another. Lots of free designs and instructions on the net.

I did make a piece using the kiln method, with various types and thicknesses of clear, frosted and textured glass. I would still have it had my German Shepherd not slid across the floor, collided with the dresser and knock it onto the floor.
Poor dog avoided me for a few days.
