We can talk later….
Les said Ann to Pru.
Other than the Les / Ann interaction, this is the only advancement in character information for the entire arc.
And we are to assume nobody talks to anybody. Ann does not know TJ is K2, TJ does not know Eiffel is Les’s mom, nobody outside of the dorm, other than Gunther, knows about Tiffany’s weight gain, and absolutely nothing the readers want to see completely resolved is completely resolved.
The flag has been dropped:
5 yawn penalty for delay of game.
And a five scent cigar has made the rounds in Washington.
Black blobs don’t count.
And legally following dupe process is usually very difficult.
Ann played no security deposit in case there was a mess that had to be cleaned up.
My current wild speculation (they happen frequently and are often replaced) is that this was a lesbian speed date night, with Ann charging extra, one at a time, for letting them use the men’s room as a message board.
Now instead of having TJ outfox Ann, we have Pru getting the last word to the arc.
She manages to find and invite everyone back to the Fuse for a normal hours, still descrete, private party. One free drink if you help to scrub the walls of the men’s room.
And the prom dress guesser agrees. False leading artwork was probably intentional.
The not quite Luann clone looking blond is the youngest.
At first it was a complement, but now after almost ten years of it, she’s getting ticked off having to show proof of age to buy beer.
This is all that green dye from the last bank robbery a few months ago in an undisclosed nearby city.
Black hair glasses and Hair sister are now a couple.
Hair is still wearing purple, but not everything she came in with.
Perhaps meaningless detail. Perhaps clues that no child reader would ever notice.
The lingerie was the sideline.
Ann paid no security deposit.
Les, check the men’s restroom.
I personally know several women kinky enough and with enough mad money to pay $20 to write whatever they want to on the walls of a men’s restroom.
