    This was a good puzzle. The clue was reasonable. Not enough information for the real world, but good enough for Inspector Danger.

    The wife should ask for a search warrant. All the Inspector’s guesses (except possibly the briefcase) are flimsy at best.

    The inspector could check with the airline to determine if Mr. Dinsdale left for the UK.

    Dinsdale sounds like the name used in the Monty Python program from the early 70’s.

    The suspect’s mom did not call. The secretary of the murder victim tried to cal the suspect.

    I thought this puzzle was creative. The reference to Friday the 13th and public workers were good clues.

    I think people sometimes expect too much from this comic strip. It has limited space to present the scenario with enough information to point to what happened and who did the crime. You are not going to get Sherlock Holmes in 6-8 panels of a comic strip.

    Very good puzzle. I did not know that bit about the number on top. I thought it might have been the name of the truck not having the full company name on it.

    Good comic strip. A reasonable suspect. It may not hold up in court, but the detective’s job is to gather evidence, not prosecute.

    A nice comic. I guessed the losers, but I did not guess the reasons for Charlie Chan and Poirot. I should have asked #1 son for help. :)
