The first time I read BC, it was a Wiley poem about a freckle on his nose. It really struck my funnybone as I had a freckle on my nose too! It went: “Freckle, freckle, on my nose; I know not why its me you chose; or what you are or where you’re from; So I will squash you with my thumb!” I have always loved BC and the way he used his faith in his strips–some newpapers would not run them. Two thoughts about this, 1. The people who did not get to see these strips because of some ignorant editor are much poorer for it, and 2. the igorant editor who decided not to run Johnny’s religious strips will face our Father in Heaven some day and will have to give an account for him/her self. God bless Johnny and his wife, Bobby. We are all so much better for the two of you. Johnny is one of those ‘Bright Stars” now.

This reminds me of a skit done by Carol Burnett where she tries to open things and operate house hold items when every inanimate thing in the house seem to be conspiring against her. Hysterical! Love it!

Another frieghtened and angry liberal who knows they could not compare to this man tries to pass his hatred and fear off on the rest of us as ‘humor’. Pathetic!

Boy, am I glad that my hubby is not this steriotypical type! This is almost too true to be funny! I have seen couples who continue to share a house, but are just as spiteful and hateful towards each other as any two people can be. I’d rather live in a tent than to share a home with a contentious person!! But this cartoon is funny.

As a former pharmacy tech, I worked with someone like this. This is too funny!

As stated before, a liberal atheist is scared by Sarah Palin only because they know instinctively that she is better than they are all around. That is why so many loved Bill Clinton–because no matter what someone else did, they were still better than him, and/or they felt that by Clinton’s behavior, it gave them legitement permission to go out and act like him. Because Sarah Palin has built her life on the guide rules that God laid down for all of us in the Bible, and Christians have a better foundation on which to build their lives, there fore tend to be calmer and wiser if we seek guidence from God who created us all, they tend to be wiser in their consideration of problems. We believe in people pulling their own weight and take responsibility for their choices, even if it’s a bad choice. An athiest liberal simply cannot find a foundation on which to argue her actions, so, they resort to ad hominen attacks and behave more like a bratty 1st grader who can’t get what he wants, and throws a fit, calling names. B. Hussien Obama states in one of his books that if things get ugly, he will stand with his muslim brothers. That is the change he is trying to pull off on us–a closet muslim, (at least until he gets into the White House) along with an extremely ANGRY wife who seems to think that the white population of this country owes her something. We are not responsible for something our ancestor may or may not have done 200 years ago. GET OVER IT! And what qualifications did Slick Willie have to be in the White House? He let the chance to grab Osama pass him by, not once, not twice, but three times!!! If Clinton had done what he should have done, imprison Osama for all the attacks on American Embassies, 9-11-2001 would never had had a chance to happen. And Clinton’s behavior while in the White House was beyond appalling–both his and Hillairy’s. They made all American’s look really bad and incompetent. And what about all the pardon’s he granted of convicted, sleezy criminals. There is no excuse. And he somehow got into the Presidency with less than 50% of the popular vote. People forget that Bush inherited the big horrible mess left by Clinton. When the Clinton’s left the White House, they actually stole furnishings that did not belong to them and they knew it. And they have yet to return all of the stolen items. And now because the Republican VP Candidate is a Biblical Christian who make others feel guilt because they recognise deep inside that she stand head and shoulders above them, they just keep on with the ad hominen attacks. Shame on the democratic party who want to make the people of this country dependant upon Uncle Sam for everything. They act like none of us have a brain cell in our heads and cannot think or make good descions for outselves. This ‘cartoonist’ should also be ashamed of his hateful rant under the guise of cartoons! You are a credit to no one.

Cathy cracks this Cathy up, but I do find myself thinking that I am glad that my life is much simpler than her’s! Tugboat Mama aka Cathy p.s. She also knows how to spell Cathy the correct way, too!

I call my grandson Shadau, Calvin. So you have an idea of the way his mind works–of course, Shadau is just like his Dad, my son, Gabriel, whom I also used to call Calvin.

My late father in law was the sexton in a nearby cemetery and I laughed until I cried over one Broom Hilda that has her telling the vulture that she has just purchased a huge life insurance policy that would cover her funeral costs. The vulture says: “Come now, Broom Hilda. How much does a plastic garbage bag and a post hole digger cost?” I laminated that one and gave it to my father in law.
