At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.

A “queen” sized bed

@ Gokie5 from yesterday:
.
“The movie Idiocracy comes to mind . .”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
“Idiocracy”: (Not a little kids movie.)
.
That is the best 84 minutes of “Why-am-I-watching-this?” that I’ve had in a long time.
.
(I eventually came to realize it was because Maya Rudolph is having so much fun in her role as Rita.)
.
Why it hasn’t achieved “cult status” is beyond me. It deserves it.
.
I recommend it as one of the most inadvertently well crafted “train wreck” movies you will ever have the pleasure of watching. Enjoy! (And thank you Gokie5.)

The queen looks like she could use some Gatorade.

What country is the queen from? And I wonder whether the king size mattress would be less comfortable, due to all the armor.

At least the queen isn’t RuPaul..

The punch line fits with the grammar, but I don’t think Betty Windsor is any too happy.

I wonder if there’s an alternate version with Pig resting on a gay guy.

That’s one mattress you will have to feed and let use your bathroon.

Notice: I will not make any more political statements on this sites are any other. I wholeheartedly apologise if I offended anyone. Sometimes rebuttals are hard to resist. I get my blood pressure up and that’s not a good thing. Hope you all will forgives me and let me start a clean slate. Thank You.

Oh, Pig!
—I’m so sorry, your Highness; he’s not too clear on ambiguous words and phrases! Cartoon-Boy, I mean.

Stephan is really into those metaphorical punchlines which turn out to be literal.

@Hillbillyman -
Good move, H.B.
There are issues that fire me up – increase my pulse rate & pressure, etc. – but this is pretty lawless territory; no rules for debating in a civilized manner.
Exposing our strongly held views in this venue can be pretty frustrating.
Beside running the risk of having our feelings hurt, there’s little chance we would be able to convince an opponent of the unreasonableness of their position with such a limited mode of communication . . . kinda like firing into the dark of night.
