Two things to help stop feeling guilty about the suffering of others; don’t cause it and do whatever you can to ease it. No matter how small the relief you can give, it beats not helping by a mile.

“Nope, you’re not suffering enough till you can understand others suffering while suffering yourself and realize that their suffering is worse than yours because you are only suffering because they are suffering.”

Ugh, MIl is little young to start the female guilt cycle.
    .
Never saw her as the anorexic type, hovering in a major charity event stroking the egos and pocketbooks.

Try suffering like those you care about Millie. Or do something.

Actually Millie eases a lot of suffering. By being Ozy’s best friend.
