Ha Ha Ha! Imagine a country without the Republican Party, News Corp., the Cato Institute, or a Second Amendment as written.

Man, I almost wish Ritt Momney had won – and we wouldn’t have to LISTEN to these sore losers.

..or the house. For all their BIT(!NG, the Reps haven’t proposed anything. And it’s a laugh to hear Boner telling the Pres he has no guts – old Boner can’t even sell his on caucus on any of his lame ideas.

Well said! It does seem that Mike Luchovich has a way of bringing the worms out of the woodwork.

Sorry, Angry White Men, the rest of the country is on to you. Your time is gone. Join the 21st century. We’ll be glad to have ‘Thinking’ white men. If you can do it. Are you up to the challenge?

I’m not angry, I’m just amused how you lefties have royally screwed this country up—and you don’t even realize it.

How’s it working out for me? Fairly well, and certainly better than it would have under McCain/Palin or Romney/Ryan. You can sling all of the crap you wish about our President, but he’s doing a pretty good job cleaning up after the mess your boy Bush left behind. And he’s dealing with lumps like the GOP leadership who act more like a log jam than “the loyal opposition.”
I know it’s hard on the Republicans, who often whine like babies when they don’t have it all their way, but they are going to have to grow up and present some new ideas of your own rather than simply knocking down eveything the President proposes.

Are you kidding me…maybe you need to review the Bush years and financial collapse that followed, let me reiterate..ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! I love the rights selective amnesia

Obama implemented their ideas on healthcare & tax policy. All they have left is cutting away the social safety net, expanding the military & screeching about gun rights.

The President that Obama should be compared to is Herbert Hoover. In 1929, Hoover followed the path that our conservative posters think we should have gone down over the last 4 years, with disastrous results.

taratus: I imagine! its the more perfect union the Constitution envisioned – except for the “as written” part; I’d keep it in preference to the present “as thugs interpret it”. As written, it is a way to ensure domestic tranquility and provide for the common defense without recourse to a large standing army, mercenaries, or conscription. Instead, we have the first two totally and the third on paper and recent past. Thus an imperial Pentagon “Defense Department” and permanent war instead of the original “War Department” and relative peace.
