Turns out there WAS fraud in voting… but nothing that the voter ID laws would have prevented. Why do we allow the political parties to have ANY decision-making capacity in who can vote? And why are the Republicans so quiet, after raising such a stink about Acorn’s much smaller scandal?

@ARodney
Well, you know, it’s okay if a Republican does it.

That’s why I like him. He doesn’t kowtow to either liberals or conservatives, but rather shows the point of the issues in his comics.

Cute, Morin! I like the “hands in the cookie jar” bit…. XD

You should check out the gocomics political slant info page. Mr Morin is in the same group as Mr Rall.
This is a typical dimlib attack on solid Republican values. We just want to stop all those illegal immigrants from voting.
I had to register to vote, and to register, I had to prove I was a citizen and give my address, and they checked to make sure there was no court order prohibiting me from voting. I signed the registration form. On Election Day, I was only allowed to vote at the one polling place designated for people in my neighbourhood. They had the original of my registration with my signature, and checked the signatures.
So it’s easy to see I could easily have voted dozens of times at every single polling place, in fact, multiple times at each of those polling places, just by giving a fake name and fake address, and I’m glad the Republicans are addressing this problem. Especially for those who want to vote Democratic, since no one except illegal aliens ever votes Democratic.

You overestimate the ease with which in person fraud takes place. Unless your precinct people are incompetent or corrupt, or you live in a state with very loose laws, you would not get away with it here in Virginia.

Nor has there been any evidence of significant in-person voter fraud. Barely discernible. Compare that to the number of legitimate voters prevented from voting by purged roles – that’s where the real fraud lies.

I find it hard to believe that any undocumented aliens would go to the trouble of trying to vote. Why would they want & try to call attention to themselves ? The only purpose these voter ID laws serve is to suppress legitimate votes presumably for Democrats.

Too bad the EVIDENCE is against you. Voter fraud is a fake threat. Excluding legitimate voters is a real threat.

Please don’t play the evidence card; facts mean nothing to trolls.

No, you don’t. There ARE no illegals voting. Hasn’t happened yet,and it’s not going to.
Here’s the REAL reason the GOP wants these laws passed.
“Voter ID, which is gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done,"
Mike Turzai, House Republican Leader, Penn.

So in your world a homeless person should not be able to vote. They are American citizens protected under the constituion like YOU and me but you say NO to American values because you have not suffered hardship as they have. I can oly hope people with your ethics end up in thier shoes one day, think your tune would change…on no of coarse not (place sarcasm here)

I know it was hard to tell, but michaelwme was being sarcastic. I had to read his comment twice before I was sure of it, but he was being sarcastic.
