Wally: “Ditto, little buddy, that’s amazing! It looks like we’re in Bill Gate’s third vacation home! Wow, gotta love the indoor waterfalls. But, about having an estate that can be seen from space…”

Off the ditto runs going feral once it realizes its free.
I just love the broken bone fix. So western in nature. Now as long as he has not trapped any tendons or muscle tissue between the breaks she should be just fine in about 8 weeks. Would you let me, untrained in medical care except for basic lifesaving stuff, reset your broken arm?
But this is ripping good stuff.
Now about the gaping hole in the ground, that big elevator laying about, all the debris scattered about, much less how much damage occurred below which of course neither Holly or Wally will care for.
    Or will they??

Really he should open his eyes when setting someone else’s broken bone. That way he can make sure he got it straight at least.
    Holly later:
“Look I can scratch my nose without bending my arm.”
    Wally:
“Damn it Holly, I’m an engineer not a DOCTOR!!”

The $100 question, can the dittoes hide the delightful duo from the Topsiders without turning them invisible so that Wally can’t see what he’s doing.

    I love Holly’s expression in panel 3.

Wally has gone right into topside survival mode. Not a single moment of indecision. He’s back where he belongs.

A ditto construct estate could easily be invisible from the outside, but it would be of little use to our friends since it would be simply a picture of an estate and would have no substance.

Six am, I have been awake since 3:30, not by choice. The sad news is I am kicking the oxycodone that I have been taking for 6 years! No cure just wait and suffer. And a little MJ that the MD doesn’t know about.
Anyway, back to the most important situation. Why don’t we hear her holler?Because she is a Holly?I like the little dittos .They look like they are alert and ready for the news and requests from Wally. He must have been trained well.
Surprising that he is also a doctor, although he may have met others in the past who needed care.
    Love you all
    Blessed Be

Well Veteran, while you wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice, if the choice is between you setting it and me setting it myself, I would most likely pick you. I once made the mistake of trying to reduce a dislocated finger on my own hand. Not one of my brighter moments…. ;-)

many broken bones do not even have to be reset, many others are self explanatory. It is the truly smashed up that really need a doctor, but nature has a way of coping with them, too(if it doesn’t get infected and you die.)

Au contraire, if the ditto construct estate hides the delightful duo from the topsiders, it is VERY useful.

    Ouch.
When I got hit by a car 1.5 years ago, one of the main long bones in my left foot snapped clean in two. The doctors wrapped the foot up and told me to just wait for the ends to mend together by themselves (no plate, no pins, no surgery). Problem was that the ends weren’t lined up or touching properly, and after a couple months the x-rays showed no signs of improvement. At the time, it was really hard to change clothes, and one morning, I made the decision to put all my weight on the bad foot as I took my pants off my good leg. The pressure on the bad foot caused the bone pieces to finally align right, and the next x-ray showed that they were healing together. I never did tell the doctor why the change in mending rate occurred so quickly.

Don’t expect the dittos to get it right on the first try.

Everybody should know how to set a bone. How do you set a bone?
