    That must have been a big piranha, or he didn’t decide the piranha was grumpy until after petting became really impractical.

    Saw a piranha close up. Such white pointed teeth and the splash of blood colored pigment under the mouth. How fetching.

    A variety in E Bolivia is about an inch long, they don’t bother you if you keep moving, but if you hold still they swarm in like locust. tiny bites hurt but don’t draw blood unless they find something that fits in, like the edge of a nipple or an ear. I guess then the bigger ones come, if you want to wait around.
