"Garry Trudeau is the premier American social and political satirist of his time." -Newsweek Doonesbury has managed to be articulate, abrasive, political, compassionate, misunderstood, misprinted, and outrageous - but one thing it's never been is complacent. Garry Trudeau's creation has chronicled American history and culture in a parallel universe. And through it all, Doonesbury has always been honest, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

Now that’s the Duke we all love and detest !

Which raises the question: Why is Duke keeping former President-for-Life Trff Bmzklfrpz in his opulent place? Is Duke getting CIA black-ops payments under the table to keep him? If so, what for? One thing is certain: Duke’s not keeping him out of the goodness of his heart.

@DylanThomas3.14159 Duke’s not keeping him out of the goodness of his heart.

When Trff escaped he forgot or lost his money, I forget the exact story. Being destitute he has to crash at Dukes and actually work for a living.

“Trff … forgot or lost his money ….”
Probably billions (that belong to the Berkistani people). Where is it? Who has it? I’m guessing Trff made some sort of pre-rescue arrangements . . . The plot thickens.

Is there such a thing as a double oxymoron? Oxydiplomoron, or is it Diploxymoron? Now seen it in action.

@DylanThomas3.14159 At least we know where our own billions are—right there safe in the pockets of…

I bet Duke has enough stolen loot squirreled away as to make Mitt Romney look homeless.

Indeed. I hope that if Trudeau lives to end the strip who comes up with a particularly nasty end for Uncle Sociopath, something worse than being turned into a zombie.

trff, button your coat, you’re out of uniform.
And no, the berzerki language has no vowels, just bowels.
