    @MPeters

    The Incredibles (Pixar) has a scene where Mr. Incredible is being stretched by a big droid robot and suddenly his back cracks, he gains strength, and is able to defeat the robot!

    One of the Angelique books by Frank Yerby had a guy who had his damaged leg straightened by torture.

    Oooops (it’s been many years past) My mistake not Frank Yerby it was Sergeanne Golon who wrote the Angelique books – bodice rippers set in France-

    Gives the discs a chance to find a new place, slides the vertebrae around on the spinal cord, who knows? One very simple and effective operation for pain is to trim the area where the nerves exit the bottom of the spine.
