This is how 1/2 of 1% of our tax money is spent compared to what 5.4 percent spent on war?

Yes but the ones complaining want the money to be spent on wellfare.

And Republicans. They still have a vote, and they vote for welfare. They kill welfare in this economy, they kill America. Even business leaders are realizing the mistake in the budget cliff that the Republicans have scheduled for January — it turns out that government spending DOES create jobs. Who knew?

THIS is what American exceptionalism is. Anyone who watches television, uses GPS, maps, etc. can thank NASA.

Science ROCKS! Those who support unlimited spending on the biggest welfare scam in U.S. history, the “military industrial complex”, have rocks for brains.

govmt didnt build it or any other spacecraft, all govmt does is decide which private company to pay to build it, look at all the pics of the workers getting the manned missions ready, the logos on their shirts are from McDonald Douglas, Lockheed, etc.

The way Reeps run government certainly would not have worked as they have proved over and over again with every incompetent president that they have foisted on our poor troubled country.

that was a truly great moment. Even for just a few minutes people stopped arguing. If we could learn co-operation instead of confrontation we would have more moments like that.
