“The economy is still a work in progress but 1 presidential term was not going to fix that mess.”

That’s not what Obama campaigned on. He told you guys he had solutions and pulled a bait and switch on you suckers halfway through, stop deluding yourselves. As for Bin Laden, remind you of anybody? He wants us to be in the Middle East but doesn’t want to provide evidence of why we’re there. Bush didn’t want to show evidence of WOMD, Obama doesn’t want to show evidence of Bin Laden’s death (or anything else, really). You liberals have a pretty shallow concept of transparency.

I bet liberals would like to forget that Obama while in Congress was a pro-Bush agendas guy, huh? That Obama voted for 10 of the 11 Iraq War spending bills he came across.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2008/07/the-truth-on-troop-support/

That he voted for the bailouts.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2012/02/obama-white-house-full-of-wall-street-executives/

That he voted for the Patriot Act and had it reauthorized multiple times as president, and seeks more extreme extensions than the Republicans.

    http://www.thenation.com/blog/158381/obama-takes-wrong-turn-civil-liberties-adopting-worse-patriot-act-stance-gop#

That he voted for 19 of Bush’s budget bills.

    http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/13/wall.bush-obama/index.html

That Bush also had sweeping healthcare reform passed and pressured through Congress using backroom deals to buy votes. It was the biggest expansion of Medicare since the program was passed in 1965.

Exact same stuff liberals blame Bush for is stuff Obama voted for while in Congress, and has continued to support while President. Talk about a double standard. If liberals would take off their blue-tinted goggles and look honestly at what Obama does instead of just what he says they’d see how scarily similar Obama is to Bush on economic issues and foreign policy.

And like Bush’s Stimulus, Obama’s consisted largely of tax cuts, 1/3 of it. Even their Stimulus bills were somewhat similar. Even though Obama campaigned against free trade and outsourcing, while in Congress he was voting for free trade agreements. And once elected he did an about-face and became openly free trade. I repeat, on economics and foreign policy the two might as well be twins.

well, i have a bit more peace of mind now that we no longer have a homicidal maniac bent on finishing a former president’s unfinished business in the white house.

0of course my biggest concern now is hoping that a certain person running for president doesn;t make good on his consideration of offering the vice presidency to said homicidal maniac, as he said he’d consider.

Another question should be: “Is the guy now running for the office going to make things any better?”

Four years ago, the company I worked for began to go out of business in the Bush crash. I was unemployed for eight months. Now I’m working again and happy. So, yeah, I am.

And of course, Carmen, you have conveniently “forgotten” the no-holds barred, destroy the village to save it efforts of Congressional and regional Republicans. Yeah, despite Bush/Cheney’s best efforts we still don’t live in a dictatorship (although closer than before 2001). But then Republicans never take any responsibility for their own actions. They have been screaming for deregulation and lower taxes in order to jump start the economy for the past 30 years and we see how that’s worked out. And business is sitting on a trillion plus cash at the lowest tax rate in five decades, so where are the jobs Carmen? The point is Obama has his problems and the Republicans have the most of them. Be honest for once, if only with yourself.-PS: The reason Obama is viewed in too hopeful terms is your favorite Son-W. was so horrible in so many others. Ask all the war dead.

Why, yes. I am better off. Thanks for asking. And the icing on the cake is seeing the Republican Party laying the foundation of their future utter ruination.

Well yes actually. Yes I am, Would Romney make it even better? Sadly BO remains the least of evils again. BO may not fix anything, but Romney would break what little remains of the middle class.

I note that many commenters think the problem is that Obama is too conservative, too much like GWBush. But our only choice is Romney, who is even further to the right.I rather suspect that Scott Stantis is trying to suggest something else, something counter-factual, like the wingnut claim that the Lesser Depression was created by Obama (!)

Let’s see, the economy was headed for the abyss, 750,000 jobs a month were going out the door, two wars were raging, dead American troops coming home every day, torture, Justice Dept being politicized…yea, I would say a lot better off.

Yes. Our company is doing better, I’ve released more albums, and I’m excersizing more. Mr. Stantis, were you truly satisfied with the Bush administration? And perhaps you’ve noticed that the Republicans for the past 4 years have done more to stop the President than any previous opposing party?

No…the REAL question is where would you have been if there had been 4 more years of inept economic delusional GOP leadership in the White House following W Bush AND where do you think you’ll be if Romney spends the next 4 years there?

Bin Laden gone based on information gotten during the Bush era. Auto industry under the control of the Gov’t and the unions, Not better health care, but more IRS agents on the way, The economy in shambles and higher unemployment, the deficit twice as high in three and a half years than in all the other years combined. Not better, SO not better. Obama for Silver medal winner-2012

Biy are you easy to fool. Bush killed bin Laden in his cave years ago with a big bomb. Obama only PRETENDED to kill him. His health care swindle will NOT provide better health care. The economy keeps getting worse as long as Obama keeps messing with it. The One Percent are the ONLY ones who can fix it by CREATING JOBS. Sheesh! You can start calling me names while ignoring my arguments now—which is what you will do. That’s what liberals ALWAYS do.

I probably shouldn’t post here because nobody is listening who doesn’t already agree with me. But once in a while it gets to be just too much and I HAVE TO say something even though I know it will not do any good.
