Republicans want to replace Medicare with a voucher program —$6000, I think. Why would Republicans give money to seniors and then tell them how they must spend it?
Ima seems to be as divorced from reality as his candidate is from the truth. Did you hear where Romney said that suddenly Obamacare is going to add $500 billion to the deficit? No one seems to be able to tell where Romney’s getting that number, since all analysis shows that Obamacare will reduce deficits for the foreseeable future.
Isn’t it odd that Rove and the RNC weren’t granted authority by the Constitution to define and defend it? Also interesting (and hilarious) that the youngest male member of the court, in decades, is now considered by the rightnuts as “senile”. If you want a real court screwup, I suggest “Bush V. Gore”.
Some people said that forcing ins companies to keep children on their parents ins would raise premiums. Now, 2 years after Obamacare was passed premiums have gone up much more than they did in the years before Obamacare. ======I’d have to disagree.Several times, before and during Bush, I have had my premiums practically double in a single year. Nothing much has happened in the 2 years since passage of the PPACA.
“WSJ Chief Economist: 75% of Obamacare Costs Will Fall on Backs of Those Making Less than $120K a Year”--Isn’t that because 75% of working Americans, with and without jobs currently, are 75% of Americans?
this healthcare mandate is what republicans have wanted for about 2 dozen years and have actively worked on. When they were both senators Romney and Obama worked together on this and Romney went on to empliment it in his state. Romney care. His state has one of the best insured states. However the people in his state are less likely to vote for him on overall performance.
