The Fox/CNN screwups were great! So, much for CNN being “liberal”.

FAUX “News” would STILL be declaring that “Dewey Defeats Truman” was accurate if they had been around then!
Watch the “Spin Doctors” go to work over the next few weeks, trying to prove that the Republicans really wanted this outcome all along, and that it was all THEIR idea in the first place!

I copied the photoshopped picture that turned the “Dewey Defeats Truman” newspaper story into the electronic tablet with the CNN headline and Obama’s head where Truman’s was.
Sending it to my Republican relatives.

How is CNN liberal. The spend so much time trying to “call it down the middle” that they don’t report the truth of whats going on

CNN is not liberal. That’s a Fox News lie. They even say NPR is liberal, when it’s the most balanced news source you can find (in that it cares about truth more than politics). Conservatives talk quite a lot, but don’t believe them unless they can produce evidence (hint: there isn’t any).

My memory is a little hazy on this and I haven’t looked it up, but didn’t an NPR or PBS executive(s) get some memo(s) published telling employees to push liberal agendas a few years back?

Haven’t you heard? Anything besides Fox “News” is liberal.

And to the elephant I’d like to know… how’s that taste? LOL!

That would be better than the recently avowed republican plan to repeal the law. I hope they can at least keep the pre-existing condition part.

It was the tone of near glee at CNN, just as at Fox, and VERY often at CBS and ABC, and occasionally at NBC, when an opportunity comes to “go negative” on Obama, or “liberals”. Often it’s a subtlety in phrasing, or intonation, and THAT is what makes up the BEST propaganda, NOT shouting folks down like Rush, Hannity, or Beck.

I might as well say it again. This healthcare bill originated with the republicans. It was at least was partly drafted at the Cato Institute, a conservative think tank.
the reason the republicans wanted this bill was that there were too many freeloaders getting medical care in emergency rooms, people they felt were too cheap and lazy to buy healthcare Insurance themselves.
And the taxpayers money went toward paying for their care.

And the GOP was still in favor of this bill up until Obama joined them in saying it was a good idea.
Then, since the GOP had sworn an oath to un-seat Obama as their 1st priority.
Which is why, when Obama agreed with them on this issue, they couldn’t possibly Still want it under those conditions.
So fox took it and built it up as what republicans really hated, which is why they are Not rejoicing right now.
But in truth, the GOP powers are probably very happy.
