Waiting for marriage does not make one gay. Old fashioned, perhaps (Guilty), but not necessarily gay. Some of us want a wedding that truly marks the start of a new life together – instead of being just an empty formality after months (years!) of “playing house”.

You have no idea how many gay guys (and women) get married to someone of the opposite sex when its the absolute last thing they personally want in their lives. I never did more than kiss my wife on the cheek before we were married (there’s a reason they say ‘You may kiss the bride’), and you ask HER if I’m gay! But if Matthew’s morals are really such, it does seem a bit odd that he has no problem marrying a tramp.
