Yeah. I thought I’d help my wife out by sprinkling a bag of “wildflower” seeds in her garden. Turns out they’re all weeds….4 ft. tall, flowering weeds. Who knew?

A weed is a plant that man hasn’t found a commercial use for yet.

Every year I used to buy vinca, or periwinkles. The original plants eventually die and their seeds come up in all kinds of places.Makes a wild garden.

My gravel yard is doing a very good impression of turning into my own rain forest. If it ever stops raining here, I’ll have it taken care (and contribute more to climate change).

What happens when anti-garden meets garden? The neighborhood explodes with a brilliant fight.

I wasn’t actually talking about cannibis OR hemp in my original remark about weeds. The body goes where the mind is, I guess. I was thinking more in terms of those wild plants and flowers that are considered “weeds” by many gardeners.

A weed is something that grows where you don’t want it. George wants that yard. He is in favor of bio-diversity.

Down here we call that: A Natural Florida Landscape. True story. The Yankees don’t like it,though. They prefer lawns that must use up our precious water and invasive species of plants that kill off native vegetation.

It sounds like West Virginia’s State Road Department. They spend taxpayer money to plant patches of so-called wildflowers. If they’re wild, you don’t need to plant them.
