I suppose the pope could make any bathtub the holy water park, and save some bucks. As for the secret service…man, I would hate to see the absolute stupidest thing I was ever caught at as an immortal cultural joke
555-xxxx gets you directory service. They started using 555 in comics, TV, etc because there are actually people out there who will dial a number to see who answers or just to be a pain.
Every time I hear “FIVE FIVE FIVE” in a movie it snaps me back to reality. It would be better if they would say “SIX SEVEN EIGHT (LOUD NOISE OF PASSING TRUCK-ETC.)” Or maybe “HERE I’LL WRITE IT DOWN FOR YOU.” There are many ways to get around the dreaded FIVE FIVE FIVE".
