My own alarm clock will be thirty years old next year. It sets off an electronic tone in the morning guaranteed to wake you up. In the ’80’s, when it was time to wake up, nobody was fooling around.

It’s always better to wake up to music than to some annoying sound, providing it’s YOUR music. Once I had an upstairs neighbor who also had a radio alarm clock. Unfortunately, he must have been a sound sleeper because he set it loud enough that it woke ME up, too, loud enough that I could make out each individual word of the song that was playing. AARGH! He would turn down the volume as soon as he woke up, but by then it was too late for me, of course.

Why do I have a feeling, in about 2 months, we’re going to have a sudden lack of comics … I think right about now Mr. Craven’s door is being busted in by Federal Marshal’s, ATF and FBI.

A good alarm clock plays the sound of a cat puking up on the floor.

I use a clock radio as loud as it can go along with a cell phone that makes a rooster sound…if u haven’t guessed I’m a sound sleeper, which wasn’t good when the kids were babies.

My old alarm clock was a wind up Big Ben with two bells and two hammers. Just like a good, old fashion fire alarm. IT would wake me, my parents, and I’m sure, the neighbours. Miss it. The only ones close to it are Little Ben’s with batteries. sigh. So much for waking the entire apartment bldg.
