    There must be a column on the tax form to fill out for romance deduction. Do you think it has anything to do with what John Edwards did??

    I was a tax accountant before I retired. You’d be amazed at how often spouses unload on their accountant about how much they disagree with their partner’s attitude towards money. I remember telling a client who had become a good friend, “You need to talk with your wife about money. She’s not happy.” “Yes, she is,” he said. “No, she isn’t,” I replied. I think they eventually got a divorce over money problems.
