Mitt’s going to have fun trying to fool independents that he’s not really as extreme as he presented himself during the primaries. Between the way his own party members have characterized him and the wonders of old video, he’ll be spinning so fast that he’ll topple over from dizziness.

When it will be $6 gas and 15% unemployment and the Rebuplicans will say that it’s unreasonable to believe that the President has any control over those things.

Kinda hard to pivot when you’re spinning out of control.

“Obama is the bell wether of the Democrat Party.”

That’s pretty much always the case with an incumbent president. Either you’re unclear on the meaning of “bellwether” or you’re assuming that the electorate as a whole has the same opinion of Obama as you do. However, I do NOT believe that you are the bellwether of the nation’s voters.

“Obama is the bell wether of the Democrat Party.”

I’m reminded of an old “Mister Boffo” cartoon. Boffo is wearing artist’s togs, and is standing in a gallery next to an oversized, irregular-ovoid shape on a pedestal. Boffo says to his companion:“I originally titled it ‘The Sum of Everything Evil in the Universe’, but then I found out that not everybody feels the same way about potatoes as I do.”

You HAVE noticed that gas prices have dropped, haven’t you?Only about a nickel so far, sure, but surely you have to admit that Obama is reducing gas prices, just like you blame him for increasing them.

“The worst Republican to run against Obama.”

    Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about…

Now that the Etch-a-Sketch Man has practically secured the GOP nomination, he won’t have to pander so blatantly to the Tea Party yahoos. He’ll still pander to them, but more discretely- and he will also pander to independents, saying whatever he calculates his audience of the moment wants to hear.

Oddly, the fox news didn’t blame shrubster & cheney when gas rose to those price levels, it was’t anything the white house could do then. The story is 180 degrees now. Reminds me of 1984. War is peace etc.
