Sure he’s not writing a complaint letter to Moscow Wally-World about the sloppy fit of his new slipcovers?

Those aren’t chairs. I’ve seen this episode, one is Moe, the other is Shemp.

If this picture is from 1930, shouldn’t Stalin be in there, leaning over Lenin’s shoulder and showing him how it’s done?

Click to enlarge image (or different coloration). Painting discussed here (there’s a spyglass icon, above to the left, if the print’s too small). If you’re in Russia, where to go to learn about the man. So far, only work by this artist to appear in Mr. Melcher’s blog. Please don’t consider this advertising:Best online Sudoku website (multiple levels, different options, teaching aids, …) I’ve foundWeekly Sunday game (they call it Stickdoku)Something to play on long flights

You’d think he’d be more of a ‘hangman’ player instead of sudoku.

Its always about Lenin. What about McCartney, Starr and Harrison? And nobody mention Yoko!

With his smartphone he’d be playing Angry Birds.

The only time I’ve really seen people cover their furnture with sheets is when pets use furniture where they should not be, though in old movies people covered things in seasonal homes during off season (which were all removed by servents before thier relurn). It is interesting that this was painted in duplicate copies to celebrate Lenin at the time of and just after his death.
